My first inspirational experience of yoga was 30 years ago on a roof top In Rishikesh, India with 83-year-old Swarmi Krishna! However, my real love of yoga began to emerge 7 years ago after my 3 children had started school and I began a regular yoga practice and started to experience the joyous physical and mental benefits yoga can offer us all.
My passion for holistic health and wellbeing has woven through my life for the last 25 years as both a nurse and currently as a practicing midwife.
Recently qualified from 200hr YTT my teaching draws on several types of yoga, hatha, vinyasa and yoga rhythm. My classes explore different types of breathwork and the movement of breath in the body using postures. I guide students mindfully into the journey of a posture, with a keen focus on alignment and with a deep respect for our unique bodies.
