Vinyasa

Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow
Dynamic and suitable for all, Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow combine breath with movement, with a strong focus on awareness. Strength, flexibility and stamina are enhanced. Classes are uplifting, revitalising and help to make stresses of life more manageable! The sequences will vary depending on the teacher’s background and style.

An invigorating Vinyasa Flow class where every asana (posture) has a sense and an order, linking and moving your body in a special way to build strength alongside flexibility, whilst co-ordinating breath with movement. Leaving you feeling energised and rejuvenated.

Aerial

BACK SOON!
We’ve turned traditional yoga upside down by using suspended hammocks. The wide aerial sling supports your body weight as you move through traditional yoga poses. It helps you access postures and deep stretches in a more relaxed way. With the weight of your body supported, you can move through poses that would otherwise be restricted. You will notice increased muscle flexibility, improved joint mobility, cardiovascular conditioning and improved posture as well as providing you with a chance to fly!

Pregnancy Yoga

The classes will provide Mums with a safe, informative, welcoming space on their journey through pregnancy and birth to motherhood. We aim to help you enjoy pregnancy, stay healthy and prepare for birth. The classes include movements, breath work, sound work and visualisations which when practiced throughout pregnancy can be tremendously beneficial in preparation for birth and of course, the birth itself.
Benefits of pregnancy yoga include strengthening the body both physically and mentally, providing a tool kit of preparations for birth techniques, helping with common pregnancy alignments including lower back pain, insomnia and heart burn and facilitate a space to help you bond with your baby.

These classes will guide you, not only into relaxation of both mind and body but often to a deeper awareness and connection within yourself, supporting personal growth via the wonderful tools provided by mindfulness and mediation. Both skills that everyone should learn so the numerous benefits can be accessed by all.

Yin and Yoga Nidra

A restorative class, Yin is the perfect compliment to the more dynamic (Yang) styles of yoga. The class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body-the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. A slow and deep practise it is great for people with injuries or those new to yoga. It facilitates the release of tension and blockages. It also reduces stress and encourages mindfulness.

Yoga Nidra is an immersive, powerful guided mediation which when practised can take you to a state between waking and sleeping. It is thought 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equal to 4 hours of sleep!

Power Yoga

A fast-paced Vinyasa Flow style focusing on building strength and endurance. The class will move you from one posture to another linking your breath to different motions of the body. With its fast pace it has more cardiovascular benefits then some other forms of yoga whilst still reducing stress, promoting calm and after working hard allowing your to benefit from improved sleep.

Renew and Restore

These classes are designed specifically to balance strength and flexibility. The classes are taught in a warm environment allowing greater flexibility and helping to flush out toxins in the body.

The whole class is designed around the breath. To start with we will move with the breath to get your blood pumping and energy flowing in the body leaving you energized, strengthening the body from the inside out. We then use the breath to come into deep stretches, twists and relaxation, opening the body easing aches and pains and leaving you fully relaxed, restored and renewed.

Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga is a system of 26 traditional hatha yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a heated and humid room. Bikram Yoga is a hot yoga style, and is ideally practiced in a room heated to 35–42 °C (95–108 °F) with a humidity of 40%.
All official Bikram classes are taught by Bikram-certified teachers, who have completed nine weeks of training endorsed by Bikram Choudhury.
This practice is incredibly therapeutic for mind and body, with huge benefits for students especially working with knee and back issues.
