When I discovered yoga as a teenager more than fifteen years ago, I was immediately drawn to its power to reinvigorate the body and mind, and its focus on leaving the ego behind. After dipping in and out of practice over the years, it was my move to the UK from the US a few years ago—a time of significant personal change—that yoga became my constant as I rediscovered my love for asana and the yogi community. A regular practice soon became a ‘must’ for me, and I was amazed at how quickly my body got stronger and more flexible, while my mind got calmer and kinder.

It wasn’t long until I registered for a YTT course. I completed my 200hr certification in June 2022 alongside an incredibly inspiring and supportive cohort—the first class of graduates from teacher training at Very Yoga Reigate.

I’m not the bendiest, and many inversions are still a work in progress…but who cares? I firmly believe that yoga is for everybody and every body and my vinyasa classes are designed to appeal to and nourish students of all levels and abilities. Expect a dynamic flow and a strong workout, but also a good dose of relaxation, breathwork, a little yoga philosophy, and some good tunes, too! My goal with each class is to create an inviting space where each student feels comfortable to practice in a way that is right for his or her body, and leaves just that much more invigorated to take on the world!
