Alice Knight

Hiya, I’m Alice!

I’ve always loved movement. Whether it’s yoga, pilates, strength training or reformer, moving my body has always been something that makes me feel good, both physically and mentally. Outside of the studio, you’ll usually find me out on a walk in nature, enjoying my morning coffee or soaking up the sunshine whenever I can.

I’ve lived with epilepsy my whole life, and over the years I found myself searching for a way to feel more grounded and connected to my body. That’s when I discovered yoga. It gave me a sense of calm I hadn’t experienced before, while also challenging me physically. I loved that I could build strength and confidence, then leave the mat feeling lighter and more relaxed than when I arrived. It quickly became so much more than exercise – it became something I genuinely looked forward to, and now I love helping others experience that same feeling.

My classes are designed to help you move well, feel strong and give yourself an hour that’s just for you. They’re a mid-paced vinyasa flow with a balance of strength, mobility and relaxation. I love weaving in plenty of sun salutations to build energy and warmth before easing into slower, grounding stretches. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, switch off from a busy day or simply move your body, my aim is always the same: that you leave feeling stronger, calmer and more connected than when you walked in.

If I had to choose a favourite pose, it would always be urdhva dhanurasana (full wheel). I love how empowering it feels. It’s energising, opens the heart, strengthens the spine and improves posture. It’s a reminder that we’re often capable of so much more than we think.

One of my favourite parts of teaching is seeing the transformation in people from the beginning of class to the end. Watching someone arrive feeling stressed, tired or disconnected and leave standing taller, smiling more and feeling like themselves again is so rewarding.

I’ve never finished a yoga class and thought, “I wish I hadn’t done that.” Even on the days you least feel like coming, it’s usually the class you need the most. I hope my classes leave you with that same feeling every time you step off your mat.
