If we attune to awareness, we begin to hear the resonance of the heart, which echoes in each of us, and allows the path of yoga to unfurl. Yoga is a practice of observing the self, whilst also unveiling the interconnectedness of all existence. Yoga is an invitation into the depths of awareness, into the stillness of meditation, into the posture of personhood.

Yoga explores the expansive love of the universe, the pulse of life that swirls in every being, the wisdom of light that wanders through every living cell.
Spanda, the delicate dance of balance between opposite energies, is in symbiosis, creating life as we know it, from the inhale and exhale of breath to the ebb and flow of the ocean waves. This relationship between effort and ease, expansion and contraction, light and dark, gravity and levity, fundamentally comprises the practice of yoga.

Embodying this truth through an aligned vinyasa flow practise that incorporates pranayama (breathwork), slow and deliberate transitions, and explores the experience of being human so that we may grow, is my intention.

I discovered yoga when I was pregnant with my second child, fourteen years ago.

My favourite yoga postures are not actually the postures themselves, but the transitioning through a flow, connecting to the energy body, and exploring the possibilities that sequencing creates.

My classes are strong and steady, with a bit of a “workshoppy” feel, swathed in playfulness. I see yoga as a practice of love, for both the self and all existence.
